I haven’t blogged in a while because my transition phase that I’ve been working towards the since New Years has started. At times I’ve been overwhelmed and other times, I am just standing in a place of gratefulness. When we aim high and ask the universe for what we deserve…it often answers…softly yet powerfully. Today I want to share 5 things I have learned about my life during this intense time of change. I hope some, if not all, of them will speak to you too. 5. WE ARE BUILT FOR THE CHANGE WE SEEK! The more we want out of life often leads to the biggest obstacles that also often lead to some of our biggest blessings! ?? Yes the road is challenging and there will be times we question the journey…but you have to keep on moving forward. Never give up…on yourself and your dreams! And for goodness sake…never stop dreaming! 4. DO NOT BE AFRAID TO LET GO! Do not hold onto what no longer serves you or never did… Letting go is never easy but if something does not serve you…holding on will only allow it to crush your inner spirit while snacking on your soul. Oouch! Let go and trust all will fall into place…the way it was meant to. 3. CHEER YOURSELF ON! I have spoken about the dangers of only celebrating major milestones in a previous blog…but when you are in a time of transition…it is even more imperative that we acknowledge our small steps!?? Each small step leads to those huge milestones we love so much! So cheer yourself on with every step of change you take. 2. DO NOT PUNISH YOURSELF FOR THE PAST! As we take steps of change, it becomes very easy to look back at our past and get frustrated on why we waited so long to make changes. The past is in the past (if you let it be that is) and there’s no reason to criticize yourself in your season of change! Just be thankful you are making changes and that you are holding yourself accountable for your own happiness! ?? 1. DO NOT DELAY HAPPINESS! It is so easy to say that once certain things are in place…we can be happy. ? Happiness is what you make it. Do not delay it because what if you reach your destination and you still aren’t happy? Remember those small steps I mentioned earlier? Celebrate them and you are almost certain to bring more happiness into your life. Be kind to yourselves. Celebrate you. And keep taking more steps! I am already so proud of you! ?? ~KJM on Flashback Friday?
