Lately life has been kicking my butt. Personal life is meh and work is down right hostile. As I am trying to deal with each situation as they arise…I realize that I cannot fight a war on two fronts…so I claim PEACE in my personal life and VICTORY in my career as I turn my attention to more pressing matters. While it feels like the world is swallowing me up and sleep escapes me almost every night…I am still blessed. Yes I am walking through a tunnel but there has to be…no…there is…a light at the end of the tunnel! ??The journey is long and frustrating and the enemy is near but we shall still keep the faith! ?? In the midst of keeping the faith and trusting that things will work out for the best…look for some beauty around you. Something that will give you hope and keep you looking forward to each day. Serenity is holding onto that beauty until you can see that light at the end of the tunnel and breathe a sigh of relief that you got through it all and are still standing. GREAT POST. I have been struggling on both the personal life and career fronts, and have been unable to find happiness with both. This post has made me realize that I am blessed for all that I have. I have forgotten that I’ve come so far and have achieved a lot, although I still have far to go, and because of that, I’ve forgotten to look for beauty around me. Thank you for this post (and all the others!) as you’ve reminded me to keep the faith and to look for beauty around me as it is there.
